| The Crow original handmade dagger, used through the film and in Lee's final fight scene with arch villian Top Dollar. This was the only knife created, no prop knives were used in its place. The blade is of ATS-34 stainless grade tool steel, handshaped and polished, and left unsharpened at propmaster Daniel Kuttner's request. The handle is fossil walrus ivory. The carvings in the ivory are abstract stage symbols. The quillon and buttcap are hand sculpted from solid pieces of brass, and highly polished by hand. The symbols on the brass sideplates on each side of the blade as well as the buttcap were handcut using a hand-held chisel and hammer.
The serial number on this knife was designated as 00-01. It was built to exact Crowvision specs by knifemaker Randall King, rented for the duration of the film, and then returned. It was sold at auction December 4, 1995 by Heather Holmberg's Collectible Gallery.
Brandon showed a great interest in obtaining the knife after carrying the knife on the set between scenes. His sincere interest extended to prompting the propmaster to ask about a purchase price.
